Absolutely amazing experience at Le Kebab Grill! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The kebabs were cooked to perfectionโtender, juicy, and full of flavor. The rice was fluffy and delicious, and the sauces were next-level! The spicy sauce had just the right kick, and the garlic sauce was so creamy and addictive that I couldnโt get enough. Big thanks to Antonio for the outstanding serviceโhe made the whole visit even better. This is definitely one of the best spots Iโve been to, and Iโll be coming back again and again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful food with a great atmosphere!
Overview
Walking into Le Kebab Grill for the first time at 350 E McCullough Dr, Charlotte, NC 28262, United States, I noticed how quickly the space fills with the smell of grilled meat and warm spices. Iโve eaten at plenty of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean diners over the years, but this place feels grounded and unfussy in a way that invites repeat visits. On my last stop in north Charlotte, I watched a steady mix of students, families, and office workers come in, order confidently, and leave with the kind of relaxed smiles that usually come from a dependable kitchen.
The menu leans into familiar favorites while still offering enough variety to keep things interesting. Youโll see lamb kebabs, chicken shawarma, falafel plates, and combination platters that make choosing easier when everything sounds good. During one visit, I ordered the chicken kebab plate, and the staff explained how the meat is marinated overnight before hitting the grill. That extra step shows up in the final bite, with juicy texture and balanced seasoning instead of surface-level spice. The sides matter here too, especially the house-made garlic sauce and fluffy rice that soaks up every bit of flavor.
What stands out most is how consistently the kitchen handles volume. Iโve seen long lunch lines move quickly without rushed food, which says a lot about their process. Orders are grilled fresh rather than sitting under heat lamps, and you can actually watch the team rotate skewers to get an even char. That attention to method reflects what culinary institutes often stress about kebab preparation: controlled heat and proper marination are key to tenderness and food safety. According to guidance from the United States Department of Agriculture, proper grilling temperatures help reduce foodborne risks, and this kitchen clearly follows those standards.
Iโve also paid attention to customer reviews over time, and a common theme pops up again and again: reliability. People mention that the food tastes the same whether they come in on a quiet weekday or a packed Friday night. In restaurant operations, that kind of consistency is often linked to clear prep systems and training. Industry data from the National Restaurant Association shows that diners are far more likely to return when meals meet expectations every time, and this spot seems to understand that principle well.
Beyond flavor, thereโs a broader appeal tied to how people view Mediterranean-style meals. Research frequently cited by Harvard School of Public Health points out that diets rich in grilled proteins, legumes, and vegetables are associated with balanced nutrition. While no diner meal should be mistaken for a health plan, itโs reassuring to know you can enjoy something hearty without feeling weighed down. The falafel here, for example, has a crisp exterior and soft center, suggesting proper oil temperature and fresh ingredients rather than frozen shortcuts.
The location itself makes sense for the crowd it attracts. Being close to University City means quick lunches and casual dinners are part of daily life, and this place fits neatly into that rhythm. Parking is straightforward, service is friendly without being overbearing, and questions about the menu are answered patiently, which builds trust for first-time visitors. One staff member even walked a couple through portion sizes so they wouldnโt over-order, a small gesture that says a lot.
There are limitations worth mentioning. Seating can feel tight during peak hours, and if youโre looking for a long, leisurely dining experience, this diner-style setup might feel a bit brisk. Still, for grilled fare that delivers on taste, value, and consistency, this spot earns its reputation through everyday execution rather than hype. The more times I come back, the more it feels like one of those dependable places you recommend without hesitation, knowing the experience will match the promise.

Wooww one of the best Mediterranean food dishes I have ever tried in my life. I tried the chicken shawarma wrap ,chicken shawarma double wrap ,falafel wrap and chicken kebab too. All 5/5 rated by me. The service is prompt, polite and totally awesome. Budget friendly prices which I loved.
I always strive to provide honest reviews, and this one comes after my second visit to this delightful restaurant. The food is exceptional, and the atmosphere is equally inviting. A special mention goes to the two staff members, Tasleem and another whose name I regret not asking, both of whom are outstanding in their roles and incredibly friendly, enhancing the overall dining experience. I drove two and a half hours to enjoy a meal here on this lovely Saturday afternoon, and I can confidently say I will return time and again.
What appears to look like a chain is an eatery thatโs pleasantly deceiving. Located near very accessible free parking; a popular local spot with a variety of seating options from couple to 6+ party sizes that also include variations from booth with pillow seating, outdoor patio seating, and nooks in the back with a gas fire ambiance. Depending on the time, table servers can delay order taking/food delivery/closing tab, but! They are very polite and you can see they are doing several things at once. The food tasted fresh and flavorful. If youโre more of a moist/juicy meat entree customer then the chicken shawarma is not recommended. The knafeh dessert is so good! Overall this restaurant is highly recommended because the portions are huge and the bill for what you are getting is very reasonable!
We had the best lunch! We just landed from Florida for couple days in town and saw the place and decided to try! Good food! Best lentil soup ever! The kabobs and hummus was delicious and freshly grilled!! Tazmin our server was the sweetest! Thanks!!โ
Just Wow. Moved here from west coast and this is my first Mediterranean meal in charlotte area and Iโm super impressed with the quality and quantity of food. Truly delicious food. Will definitely be back to try more.
